Is thesaudadestorecl.com Legit? Safety Review & Shopping Tips

In the rapidly evolving world of global e-commerce, new online shops emerge every day. While many are legitimate startups looking to reach a niche audience, others are designed to mimic established brands or capitalize on trending search terms. One such website that has recently caught the attention of security analysts and shoppers alike is thesaudadestorecl.com.

As a global package tracking and fraud detection platform, 17TrackAI has received inquiries regarding the safety of this specific domain. Our preliminary analysis suggests that thesaudadestorecl.com currently falls into a "Medium Risk" category. This means that while we cannot definitively label it a scam, there are several suspicious signs that warrant extreme caution before you enter your credit card information.

Overview

thesaudadestorecl.com appears to be an online retail site, likely focusing on fashion, lifestyle goods, or niche boutique items. The "cl" suffix in the domain name suggests a specific focus on the Chilean market, though the site uses a global .com extension. The word "Saudade"—a Portuguese term for a deep emotional state of nostalgic longing—is a popular name for clothing brands and aesthetic-focused boutiques.

Because the website is relatively new and lacks a significant digital footprint, many potential customers are searching for reviews to determine if the site is a hidden gem or a potential risk. In this review, we will break down the technical data and behavioral patterns associated with thesaudadestorecl.com to help you make an informed decision.

Key Red Flags

When evaluating a new online store, certain patterns often indicate a lack of transparency or a potential "fake store" setup. Here are the primary concerns regarding thesaudadestorecl.com:

• Extremely Recent Domain Registration: The domain was flagged by security monitors as a "newly registered domain" (NRD). Fraudulent websites often have very short lifespans, popping up to collect payments before disappearing and reappearing under a new name.
• Lack of Search Engine Visibility: A search for thesaudadestorecl.com yields almost no results on major search engines like Google or Bing. For a retail site that should be competing for customers, the absence of indexed pages or marketing content is highly unusual.
• Missing Social Proof: Legitimate modern boutiques rely heavily on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to build a brand. thesaudadestorecl.com appears to lack verified social media profiles or a history of customer tags and mentions.
• Hidden Ownership Information: The registration details for the site are masked by privacy services, which, while common for personal blogs, is often viewed with skepticism when used by a commercial retail business that should be providing a physical address and contact details.

WHOIS & Domain Analysis

A deep dive into the WHOIS records for thesaudadestorecl.com reveals that the domain was registered very recently. According to data from WhoisDS, this domain was flagged as part of a batch of new e-commerce registrations.

Newly created domains (less than 3-6 months old) are statistically more likely to be involved in fraudulent activities than established ones. Furthermore, the registrar used for thesaudadestorecl.com is often associated with high-volume, automated registrations. While being a "new" site isn't a crime, it does mean the business has no established reputation or "track record" of successfully fulfilling orders. If you are considering a purchase, you are essentially acting as a "beta tester" for their service.

Server Location & Hosting

The hosting environment for thesaudadestorecl.com provides additional context. Most modern "pop-up" shops use templated platforms like Shopify or generic hosting providers that allow for quick setup.

Our analysis indicates the site is hosted on a server that shares space with thousands of other domains. While this is standard for small businesses, it also makes it easier for bad actors to hide their true identity. The server location does not always match the target market; for instance, a site targeting Chile (as the "cl" implies) may be hosted in North America or Asia. This discrepancy isn't a definitive red flag, but it adds to the overall lack of geographical transparency.

Social Media Reputation

In today's market, a brand is only as good as its community. When we searched for "Saudade Store CL" or thesaudadestorecl.com on social platforms, the results were inconclusive. While there are several legitimate "Saudade" stores operating in Brazil and Portugal, and even some on the Shopify "Shop" app, none appear to be officially linked to this specific URL.

The absence of a "Contact Us" page that links to active, high-engagement social media accounts is a major concern. Legitimate stores want you to follow them for updates; suspicious stores often omit these links to avoid public complaints on their posts.

User Reports & Complaints

Currently, there is a lack of documented user reviews for thesaudadestorecl.com on platforms like Trustpilot or Sitejabber. This "silence" can be interpreted in two ways:

1. The site is so new that no one has received (or failed to receive) their orders yet.
2. The site has very low traffic and hasn't processed enough transactions to generate feedback.

However, the pattern of "no reviews" combined with a "new registration" is a classic hallmark of the fake_store fraud type. We recommend waiting until a significant number of verified reviews appear before committing to a large purchase.

Is It Safe to Shop?

At this stage, we recommend extreme caution. While we cannot confirm that thesaudadestorecl.com is a scam, it lacks the foundational trust signals required for a safe shopping experience.

Our Recommendations:

• Wait and See: Give the site a few months to develop a reputation.
• Verify Contact Info: Before buying, email their support. If they don't respond, or if the email bounces, do not shop there.
• Check for a Physical Address: Use Google Maps to verify if the address provided (if any) is a real business location or just a residential house or empty lot.
• Use Secure Payments: Never use wire transfers or crypto. Only use credit cards or PayPal, which offer buyer protection.

What to Do If You've Been Scammed

If you have already made a purchase on thesaudadestorecl.com and have not received your items or a tracking number, take the following steps immediately:

1. Contact Your Bank: Call your credit card issuer and request a "chargeback." Inform them that the website is a suspected fraudulent store and that you have not received the promised goods.
2. Monitor Your Statements: If you entered your card details on a suspicious site, your data may be at risk. Consider freezing your card and requesting a new one with a different number.
3. Report the Domain: File a report with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) in the US, or the equivalent cybercrime authority in Chile or your home country.
4. Change Passwords: If you created an account on thesaudadestorecl.com using a password you use elsewhere, change your passwords on your important accounts (email, banking, etc.) immediately.

Conclusion

The verdict on thesaudadestorecl.com is currently Inconclusive / Medium Risk. The site exhibits several "Key Red Flags," including a very recent registration date, a lack of social media presence, and zero search engine history.

While it is possible that this is simply a brand-new Chilean startup that has not yet optimized its web presence, the risks currently outweigh the benefits for the average consumer. We suggest looking for more established alternatives until thesaudadestorecl.com can prove its legitimacy through verified customer feedback and transparent business practices. Shop smart, stay vigilant, and always prioritize your data security.
